The impacts of climate change are unevenly distributed across various parts of the world. These impacts include changes in precipitation, draughts, weather, sea levels, and ocean acidification.   While climate change ignores boundaries, poor and developing countries and/or communities are among the most vulnerable, and often lack buffers and/or strategies to adapt to the shocks to their social, economic and natural environment mos. Our research investigates the vulnerabilities to climate change, and also seeks to uncover different adaptation strategies around the world. We research these processes at different spatial and temporal scales.
